April Fools Day!

Lol I know that this is a bit late, but I was being lazy and didn't want to upload these pictures to my computer... But now they are on so I'll do the post! :p
So on April Fools Day I got dressed and went downstairs.. My mom was huddled over something in the kitchen... I went to go see and got a rather loud telling off.. So then I go sit down on the couch all bored and then my mom comes up and says "Here, there were Ostrich Eggs on Sale at the store!" and she hands me a huge egg.. I was aghast and said "Mom! I can't eat my little buddy!" (We drive to extra-curricular classes at this school, and we drive by a farm that believe it or not, has an ostrich who likes to stand in the corner and watch the traffic. :p) So we had a little arguement and then I poked the white part of the egg... it was.... umm...really soft and fluffy like... frosting. My mom said it was the egg whites... I took another bite... sweet... Anyway my dad comes down and my mom offers some to him and he said "Sure! Nice Apricot!" And I look down at my plate and the egg yoke was an apricot. :p And whip cream. Mwa-ha-ha-ha! I normally wouldn't have been fooled if it were on any other day then April Fools Day  because my mom never does April Fools Day! So we ate our egg and then my sister comes down! xD She is totally fooled, even when she starts eating it. The only comment she made was "This is interesting." and then we all burst out laughing. xD Anyway my mom was a little cocky after this so my sister and I had to show her up! My mom said "I'm throwing down the gauntlet!" (That was a thing from a show we watch called "Merlin" in one episode they had a duel, and to signify that they wanted to duel they had to throw their gauntlet down on the ground. xD) So I threw my hair scrunchie down and when she was gone, I picked it up and went to the sink and tied it around the handle of the faucet sprayer, so that whoever used the sink next (It always is my mom) would get sprayed! Mwa-ha-ha-ha-ha! Anyway... we do this faucet trick every year and it WORKS every year.. worked this time too. :p My mom says we weren't very clever because we use the same trick over and over, but we use it because it works every year.. anyway we got our mom back. Here is the "Ostrich Egg"...
